本シリーズは、佐藤が自家製のプリンター装置で制作した絵画シリーズです。装置は、一般的なインクジェットプリンタを模した構造ですが、全てが自家製ゆえの不正確さから、著しく再現性の低い画像が出力されます。
展示されている２つの出力物は、有名な某ネズミキャラクターの画像を出力したものです。本来、キャラクター画像は著作権法による保護対象となるものですが、本作では出力形態の雑さ故に、その根拠となる類似性及び依拠性の成立を（おそらく）免れます。人の手を介さず機械的な構造によって変換されたイメージは、オリジナルとコピーの境界、創作物とそうではないものの境界はどこにあるのか、見るものに問いかけます。

This series of paintings was produced by Sato using a homemade printer device. The device is constructed to resemble a standard inkjet printer, but due to the inaccuracy of the homemade nature of the device, it outputs images with remarkably poor reproducibility.
The two outputs on display are images of a certain well-known mouse character. Originally, character images are subject to protection under copyright law, but in this work, due to the miscellaneous nature of the output form, it is (probably) exempted from the establishment of similarity and dependence, which are the grounds for such protection. The image transformed by a mechanical structure without human intervention asks the viewer where the boundary between the original and the copy, between the creative work and the non-creative work, lies.
